Prospecta Changelog
Prospecta was built in a focused sprint starting June 13, 2026. Every dated entry below is the first-commit date of the route or component file that ships that feature to users — not the date of an underlying table or a plan. If it isn't on this page, we haven't built it yet.
- August 6, 2026
Reply assessments no longer estimate a reply percentage
Removed 10 prelaunch internal reply-likelihood records that contained unsupported numeric estimates. New reply assessments now use Limited evidence language until comparable graded outcomes exist.
- July 29, 2026
Removed percentile estimates from the Reality Report
We took the percentile out. It was derived from three reference points we set ourselves — roster floor, scholarship minimum, elite — not from a measured distribution of athletes, so it implied a precision we couldn't support. Reports now show position relative to those reference points instead ("above the D1 roster floor", "between the D2 and D1 markers"), which is what the data actually supports. Where genuinely measured data exists, we'll show real distributions.

A real recruiting workspace
The signed-in app moved from one long dashboard to a proper workspace: a persistent left-nav (Home, Game Plan, Outreach, Schools, Offers, Reports, Scout, Settings), a unified Settings hub, and a ⌘K command palette to jump anywhere or ask Scout from any screen.
- July 21, 2026
Honest percentile ranking
Your Reality Report now shows where you actually rank — your percentile against real rosters in your class and division, narrated by Scout, with the benchmark basis disclosed. Not a flattering number.
- July 20, 2026
Offer Navigator
When real offers arrive, compare them side by side: true four-year cost (from U.S. Dept. of Education College Scorecard data), roster-spot timing, the scholarship rules that quietly move the goalposts, and a one-page Decision Brief your family can decide on — plus AI-drafted aid-increase, deadline, and graceful-decline emails. Pro.
- July 20, 2026
Roster-timing intelligence
Target-school and offer analysis now uses real roster composition — who graduates before your athlete arrives and whether a spot is genuinely open — built from our own crawler across 22 men's and women's college-sport programs and every NCAA division we cover.
- July 14, 2026
True four-year cost on your school list
Net-price estimates from the U.S. Dept. of Education College Scorecard, so you see the real bill at each program — not the sticker price.
- July 14, 2026
Engagement Likelihood on school-fit pages
Alongside your fit score, an honest, separately-labeled read on how likely a program is to engage — division alignment, roster openings, prior contact — shown as a disclosed estimate, never a black-box number.
- July 12, 2026
Web push notifications
Scout alerts can now reach you by browser push in addition to email, so time-sensitive signals don't wait for your next login.
- July 11, 2026
Shared family access
Both parents and the athlete can share one account with role-based permissions, plus a Family Overview to track up to 5 athletes at once.
- July 9, 2026
Security hardening pass — before opening the doors to real families
Independent verification of family-data access rules. Closed a coach-profile self-approval gap, tightened row-level enforcement on verification fields, and confirmed AI providers never receive direct personal identifiers during assessment generation. Full posture on our Trust page.
- July 9, 2026
NCAA Compliance Calendar — free tool
Pick a sport and grad year, see the exact date D1 and D2 coaches can legally initiate contact plus every NCAA evaluation, official-visit, and signing window for that class year. Free, no login.
- July 8, 2026
School-fit pages
For each target school an athlete adds, a page showing where they line up against that program's roster and recent commit profile — not a generic "great fit" score. Built on top of the outcomes/receipts data model that landed in late June.
- July 5, 2026
Benchmarks by sport & division — free tool
Roster-floor, scholarship-track, and elite benchmarks for every NCAA division we cover — UTR, GPA, 40-yard dash, fastball velocity, club tier — sourced from NCAA Research and public rosters. Free, no paywall.
- July 5, 2026
Pitch Shredder & the coach-email template — free tools
Paste a recruiting-service sales pitch and get each claim graded against published NCAA benchmarks. Plus a plain-language template for what to actually put in a first email to a college coach. Both free, no login.
- July 3, 2026
Anonymous share-report links
Parents can share a Reality Report with a club coach or family member via a revocable link, without exposing the athlete's full name, email, or contact info. No account required to view.
- June 30, 2026
NCAA recruiting-calendar & contact windows in the dashboard
Every athlete's dashboard now surfaces their exact contact-window open date, evaluation periods, and signing dates for their class year. Emailing a D1 coach one day early is an NCAA violation — we make the date impossible to miss.
- Ongoing since June 19, 2026
Public coach directory
The public NCAA D1/D2/D3 coach directory at /schools — crawler-sourced from public athletic-department pages, with every contact stamped by last-refresh date so you know how fresh it is. Not individually verified. First shipped June 19 and rebuilt continuously since (50+ commits and counting); currently 43,900+ coaches.
- June 15, 2026
Recruiting Odds pages by sport
Public, no-login pages showing realistic odds of playing in college by sport — the honest denominators (roster spots, walk-on vs. scholarship, D1 vs. D2 vs. D3) that most recruiting sites bury.
- June 13, 2026
Free 6-minute Reality Report
First real code and data model land in the repo. An honest, sport- and position-specific read on where an athlete realistically fits in college recruiting. Free. No credit card. The rest of the platform gets built on top of this over the next four weeks.
